I'm off to Montreal!
I'm going to be Montreal for a couple days! I'm not even going to try and explain what went down the last time I was there because you probably wouldn't believe me (think (literally) partying with Datarock until the wee hours of the morning after going to a tranny bar with Ladytron.... and poutine of coarse)
Hopefully Ill come across some cool things to blog about ;)

Danger Mouse + Sparklehorse + David Lynch
"When the first cryptic bits of news about Dark Night of the Soul began trickling in earlier this year, it all sounded too good to be true. Though the whole project was shrouded in mystery, it appeared that Danger Mouse and Sparklehorse's Mark Linkous, two of the most inspired artists making music today, were collaborating on a new album.... Cloud Sofa
Cloud is a sofa concept designed for ultra comfort and relaxation. The soft floating upper part is supported by the magnetic force generated by the bottom base. No matter if you want to work and sit with comfort or simply a power nap to release the stress, you can always enjoy your time to relax on the floating cloud.

World's Best Street Fight
This is almost exactly like watching my mom and my grandma go head
to head on Street Fighter II.
The Great Slumber
The pillows are inspired by those suspenseful moments when a sleeping loved one is a little too still for a little too long. Using an irreverent combination of comfort & fear the pillows parallel sleep & death. Project goal: taking ownership of morbidly intrusive thoughts through humor & play.

Karin
"Having no new models to reveal at the 1980 Paris Salon, Citroën stylist Trevor Fiore was given the go ahead to build a model (not a driveable car) for display.
The result was the trapezoidal Karin, clearly inspired by Michel Harmand's design for a GS Coupé.
A three seater with the driver being seated centrally and ahead of the two passengers, this layout pre-empted that of the McLaren F1 of 1992."

Ladies Room at the V&A Meuseum
These are pics from the woman's "toilet" at the V&A museum in London. I thought the design was quite clever.
"The purpose of the museum’s foundation was to raise standards in and promote fine and decorative arts; craftsmanship and materiality are therefore a very important part of the design."
Designed by Swiss artist Felice Varini.
