Yuksek Feat. Chromeo
Yuksek's first album, Away from the Sea, came out Feb 2 in Europe (I don't think its available in the US yet). I just heard a few of the songs and they all sounded pretty good. Here is one of my favorites:

Stain teacups by Bethan Laura Wood
"Stain is a set of a teacups designed to improve through use. This project examines the assumption that use is damaging to a product (For example, scratches on an iPod).
The interior surface of the cup is treated so as to stain more in predetermined places. The more the cups are used, the more the pattern is revealed. Over time they will build up an individual pattern dependent on the users personal way of drinking tea.
Available for £35"

The Whitest Boy Alive LIVE
So, like I mentioned, I really want to see Kings of Convenience or The Whitest Boy Alive live but the bastards haven't visited the states in sometime ( I don't think The Whitest Boy Alive ever has). I came across some vids on youtube of TWBA in concert and I thought it was neat that they did so many covers. I thought I'd share.

Before the Music Dies
I just finished watching this documentary and thought it made some very valid/interesting arguments. The movie features commentary from people like Dave Mathews, Calexico, Eric Clapton, Elvis Costello, Erykah Badu (prob the most intriguing to watch ), The Roots, and My Morning Jacket. Check it out if you have some time to kill.
If you're a busy bee just watch 1:18:00 - 1:20:00. Valuable advice that could be applied to any career/hobby/lifestyle.

New vid from Franz Ferdinand
Franz Ferdinand - No You Girls
I love their new album Tonight: Franz Ferdinand. Its a bit pop-ier than what I am usually comfortable "endorsing" but I just think this band is soo cool.
