This is the only song I have heard off her new record, 21.. I heard it for the first time on KCRW a couple days ago and was very intrigued by the chorus. Sounds like she is sampling the Bee Gees or something.... I was hoping for some fun disco remixes but haven't found anything yet :/

A word from Dave 1 on the matter:

"So it’s actually going down… On Friday, June 11th, we’ll be sharing the stage with our hero/mentor/half-brother (well, kind of) Daryl Hall at Bonnaroo Festival. The idea will be to recreate the Live From Daryl’s House experience, so we’ll be performing together the whole time, playing the songs from the show, as well as a bunch of other Chromeo joints and H&O classics. Any requests? This will be nuts. (I’m flying my mom out.)"via

If you are hesitant to take my recommendation seriously then know that it features artists like Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio, Damon Albarn of Blur and Gorillaz, Hope Sandoval, and Guy Garvey of Elbow.

Toro y Moi covers Beach House

Toro y Moi and Beach House have been getting heavy rotation at my place over the last few months so news of this cover was pretty exciting to me. Though I really do dig this track, I dont think its quite as good as the original song nor do I think this is Toro y Moi's best work so if you aren't too familiar with either of these artists don't let this track be the last you hear of them.
